Sometimes it's quite foggy. This light seems very bright and penetrating. I use flasher mode only. It's mounted on my left seat stay. I'm on my 2nd one now. Why? After a few months with the first I noticed it didn't feel very positive in its seating in the slide-in mount. I ignored this. Big mistake. Some weeks later after a ride I looked down and it wasn't there. It had jiggled loose to disappear somewhere along the way. ...more

I don't believe it really is that attention getting in the daytime as some have claimed. It does work very well for night use, which is what is important. I think the rubber cover really helps absorb a lot of the impact on the light when you go over bumps. My last headlight had a plastic brace and after too many bumps it basically just broke off.
